This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in United States.
• Develop and implement the U.S. sales strategy to support the commercialization of CAR-T therapies for autoimmune conditions.
• Create and lead an exceptional specialty sales team equipped to handle current and future product launches.
• Set commercial objectives, design territories, formulate targeting strategies, and develop deployment models in line with corporate objectives.
• Drive revenue growth while ensuring adherence to all regulatory, legal, and company policies.
• Collaborate with executive leadership to define long-term commercial strategies and portfolio development.
• Oversee commercialization initiatives across the CAR-T ecosystem, which includes treatment centers, referring physicians, infusion sites, and hospital systems.
• Formulate strategies to enhance treatment center activation, patient identification, referral pathways, and patient access.
• Work closely with Market Access, Cell Therapy Operations, Patient Services, and Medical Affairs to guarantee smooth therapy adoption.
• Comprehend and tackle the complexities related to cell collection, manufacturing, logistics, reimbursement, and site readiness.
• Monitor changes in CAR-T market dynamics, competitive intelligence, and evolving treatment paradigms.
• Build and strengthen relationships with key neurology stakeholders, including academic institutions, comprehensive neuroscience programs, and community neurologists.
• Implement customer engagement strategies that support therapies for autoimmune neurological disorders, neurodegenerative diseases, and other intricate neurological conditions.
• Create disease-state education and value-based customer engagement strategies.
• Collaborate with Medical Affairs to facilitate effective scientific communication and customer education initiatives.
• Recruit, nurture, and retain high-performing regional sales leaders and field sales professionals.
• Cultivate a high-performance culture centered on accountability, collaboration, innovation, and patient impact.
• Set performance standards, develop coaching programs, plan for succession, and initiate talent development initiatives.
• Lead continuous training efforts focused on disease state knowledge, clinical data, reimbursement, and customer engagement excellence.
• Partner closely with Market Access, Medical Affairs, Marketing, Commercial Operations, Patient Services, Legal, Compliance, and Finance.
• Ensure alignment between field execution and overarching commercial strategies.
• Assist in forecasting, business planning, resource allocation, and launch readiness activities.
• Provide field insights to guide brand strategy, lifecycle planning, and evidence generation priorities.
• Establish and track KPIs related to sales performance, account engagement, treatment center activation, patient referrals, and market penetration.
• Utilize data analytics to enhance territory performance and resource allocation.
• Conduct regular business reviews and present strategic recommendations to executive leadership.
• Identify opportunities to enhance commercial effectiveness and improve customer experience.
• A Bachelor's degree is required; an advanced degree (MBA, PharmD, PhD, or other relevant graduate degree) is preferred.
• At least 15 years of experience in the biopharmaceutical commercial sector.
• A minimum of 8 years in progressive sales leadership roles, including managing national specialty sales teams.
• Proven success in launching and commercializing specialty, rare disease, neurology, oncology, immunology, or cell and gene therapies.
• In-depth knowledge of specialty reimbursement, payer dynamics, treatment center engagement, and patient access.
• Experience managing field teams that support highly complex therapies and specialized provider networks.
• Demonstrated capability to build, lead, and scale high-performing commercial organizations.
• Direct experience in CAR-T, cell therapy, gene therapy, or oncology commercialization is preferred.
• Experience in neurology commercialization, particularly within the realm of autoimmune or rare neurological disorders, is preferred.
• Familiarity with launching products through limited distribution networks and specialized treatment centers is preferred.
• Strong understanding of buy-and-bill reimbursement models, specialty pharmacy, specialty distribution, and site-of-care considerations is preferred.
• This position is also eligible for a bonus.
