This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in North Carolina, +2 more states.
• Accountable for driving sales within a designated channel/team/account to achieve revenue targets by formulating effective business plans and sales strategies.
• Offers leadership and guidance to sales team members through clear communication, setting expectations, and monitoring sales drivers and outcomes.
• Develops and oversees programs to attract, interview, hire, train, develop, and retain high-quality team members.
• Efficiently manages team members, including selection and hiring, setting objectives, performance management, development planning, capacity planning, disciplinary actions, and terminations.
• Identifies and nurtures talented individuals who are likely to thrive within the company culture.
• Assists in defining and executing the organization’s strategic and operational plans while ensuring a suitable risk control environment is maintained.
• Collaborates with operational support areas to guarantee all SLA requirements are met and that strong customer satisfaction scores are achieved.
• Responsible for maintaining and improving client service levels while partnering with operations leaders.
• Initiates and coordinates sales promotion activities and new product launches to meet sales and profitability goals.
• Provides direction and leadership to sales team members and their respective teams.
• Develops a strategic business plan for the assigned team and conducts effective planning sessions.
• Monitors sales performance across locations and communicates the results.
• Ensures the sales organization promotes and cross-sells products from various business lines.
• Develops and implements sales strategies leveraging technology, marketing, CRM, DSR, etc.
• Identifies deficiencies in individual selling skills and product knowledge.
• Strong interpersonal and written communication skills.
• Ability to deliver exceptional customer service to both internal and external clients.
• Effective time management capabilities.
• Ability to prioritize and manage multiple tasks concurrently.
• Capable of working independently as well as collaboratively in a team setting.
• Ability to work autonomously.
• Experience using PCs in a Windows environment.
• Demonstrated proficiency in essential computer applications such as Microsoft Office software products.
• Ability to analyze issues and formulate solutions.
• Capability to communicate with individuals at all organizational levels.
• Bachelor’s degree or equivalent education, training, and relevant work experience.
• Five years of related experience in sales management and leadership.
• Robust sales background in leading large sales teams and/or accounts.
• Extensive sales and sales leadership experience within the insurance sector.
• Strong project management, organizational, and executive presentation skills.
