This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Singapore.
β’ Create and implement a regional sales strategy for the APAC markets aimed at driving revenue growth, sustainable market expansion, and achieving commercial targets.
β’ Discover and unlock new business opportunities, strategic partnerships, and verticals within key APAC markets.
β’ Establish and nurture high-level relationships with mobile network operators, mobile wallets, fintech companies, digital banks, financial institutions, enterprise clients, partners, and regulatory authorities.
β’ Lead, mentor, and grow the regional sales team by setting KPIs, ensuring pipeline discipline, and fostering accountability.
β’ Collaborate with Product, Marketing, Operations, Delivery, and Finance teams to create customized commercial solutions.
β’ Analyze market trends, competitor activities, and regulatory changes to translate insights into commercial priorities and go-to-market strategies.
β’ Represent Optasia at industry events, conferences, and forums to boost brand visibility and strengthen partnerships.
β’ Provide regular updates on sales performance to executive leadership, covering achievements, pipeline status, forecasts, risks, dependencies, and improvement initiatives.
β’ Produce commercial and operational documentation, including executive presentations, business cases, service descriptions, proposals, and RFP responses.
β’ Over 10 years of progressive experience in sales and business development.
β’ A minimum of 5 years of experience in developing relationships and strategic partnerships across the APAC region.
β’ Strong familiarity with B2B2X business models.
β’ Demonstrated experience in forming partnerships across mobile wallets, fintechs, digital banks, MNOs, and financial services ecosystems.
β’ Proven leadership in sales and business development within the APAC region, particularly in fintech, telecom, mobile financial services, digital services, or AI-driven financial technology.
β’ Extensive understanding of APAC market dynamics, regulatory frameworks, cultural nuances, and regional go-to-market complexities.
β’ Experience in building, leading, and scaling high-performing regional sales teams within fast-paced, matrixed environments.
β’ Strong strategic thinking coupled with a hands-on execution capability.
β’ Exceptional stakeholder management, negotiation, communication, and executive presentation skills.
β’ Willingness to travel throughout the region as necessary.
