This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Kentucky.
• Driving annual bottom line growth throughout the KCTCS system.
• Overseeing the 16 KCTCS P&Ls, enhancing sales, COGS, payroll, and OpEx to promote efficiency and profitability across the system.
• Providing monthly reports to the COO on P&L performance for all stores, including detailed customer-level strategies for each store to enhance performance.
• Directly supervising and developing at least 2 regional managers within the Kentucky region.
• Engaging in regular travel to gain a comprehensive understanding of retail operations in Kentucky.
• Leading initiatives to automate, streamline, and optimize retail processes that can be implemented across the broader BibliU customer base.
• Cultivating relationships with campus partners and delivering quarterly financial updates.
• Establishing the new course materials vertical at BibliU across all stores.
• Introducing new roles, structures, processes, and systems for forecasting, ordering, and returning physical course materials.
• A strong influencer with the ability to lead data-driven change initiatives to optimize performance.
• An extensively experienced leader in course materials and campus retail, with several years of experience at the VP level.
• Candidates must possess excellent P&L management experience, demonstrating the ability to enhance bottom line performance using various levers in a short timeframe.
• Candidates should have robust inventory and working capital management skills, particularly in physical course materials.
• A willingness to travel extensively to stores across the US to understand course material operations and implement improvement solutions.
• A strong collaborator who can foster excellent personal relationships across both retail and digital business sectors.
