This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in United States.
• Lead the sales strategy and expansion for Marmon Utility’s Southern and Western market regions.
• Create and implement detailed sales strategies aimed at enhancing market penetration and achieving growth objectives for Power Utility products.
• Propel order growth, enhance revenues, boost profitability, increase market share, elevate sales productivity, and improve customer satisfaction.
• Guide, nurture, recruit, manage, and mentor the regional sales team along with Regional Sales Managers.
• Cultivate a high-performance culture and train the team in consultative and insight-driven selling techniques.
• Oversee the complete sales cycle from lead generation to solution design, contracting, and implementation.
• Build essential customer relationships and identify, develop, and secure new account opportunities.
• Conduct client presentations, information discovery sessions, product demonstrations, and proposals for senior executives.
• Establish connections with senior executives at Investor-Owned Utilities (IOUs) and Public Power businesses.
• Supervise market segmentation, sales processes, forecasting, and pipeline management in collaboration with Marketing.
• Create regional business and marketing plans and support marketing events.
• Identify new product and sales channel opportunities in partnership with Marketing and Engineering.
• Maintain personal target accounts and drive increased market share throughout the region.
• Provide timely and precise forecasts while managing sales opportunities within the CRM system.
• Monitor market activities, metrics, competitor data, sales activities, opportunity details, and forecasts within the CRM.
• Bachelor's degree from an accredited institution or equivalent successful experience in the power utility sector.
• Over 10 years of experience in the manufacturing of products and services tailored for the Power Utility Industry.
• Experience in the Wire and Cable industry is advantageous.
• At least 5 years of experience in managing sales teams is mandatory.
• Proven experience leading and supervising a medium to large sales team.
• High level of proficiency with technology, particularly CRM applications.
• Ability to leverage data and quantitative analysis to manage both people and processes effectively.
• Exceptional customer service abilities.
• Flawless verbal and written communication skills.
• Capacity to collaboratively solve problems.
• Structured, analytical, organized, and problem-solving mindset.
• Strong integrity and sense of accountability.
• May require up to 40% travel.
• Candidates must reside within the continental Southern or Eastern United States.
