This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in United States.
• Define the strategy, structure, and operational framework for the global PBP and ER functions.
• Build high-performing teams in PBP and ER through strategic talent decisions, development initiatives, coaching, and selective external recruitment.
• Establish standards and accountability for team operations and their impact on the organization.
• Advise XLT members on complex, enterprise-wide leadership, talent, and organizational decisions.
• Develop a comprehensive understanding of Affirm’s business, strategy, and operating model to anticipate the implications for the organization, workforce, and talent.
• Collaborate with XLT on workforce strategy, encompassing talent size, composition, capabilities, and deployment.
• Identify opportunities for leveraging technology, AI, and new operating models to enhance effectiveness and efficiency.
• Assist leaders in designing organizations and operating models that clarify accountability, accelerate processes, and align resources with priorities.
• Enhance company-wide leadership and talent decisions through talent planning, succession management, executive assessment, and performance management.
• Guide leaders through significant organizational transformations.
• Set the global Employee Relations strategy and operational framework.
• Provide executive oversight on complex and sensitive Employee Relations issues, investigations, and conduct matters.
• Utilize ER data and case trends to identify organizational risks and convert them into proactive strategies.
• Collaborate with Legal on employment practices, policies, and risk management.
• Over 15 years of progressive leadership experience in People management.
• Experience in large-scale, complex global technology organizations.
• Extensive experience in leading a global PBP organization and building high-performing PBP teams.
• Proven experience in Employee Relations, including handling sensitive investigations, executive-level issues, and complex employment decisions in partnership with Legal.
• Demonstrated ability to partner directly with C-suite executives while exercising independent judgment.
• Deep expertise in organizational consulting, organizational effectiveness, executive coaching, and strategic workforce planning.
• Strong business acumen and a high degree of learning agility.
• Capability to comprehend complex business environments and develop an independent perspective on organizational needs.
• Keen talent judgment with the ability to evaluate executive capabilities.
• Ability to foresee organizational and workforce risks and opportunities.
• Exceptional executive presence and emotional intelligence.
• Proficient in navigating challenging conversations.
• Sound judgment and integrity in balancing business objectives, employee impact, and legal/reputational risks.
