• Serve as a strategic representative for the CIO, proactively identifying needs, shaping priorities, and facilitating high-impact execution across IT and the larger organization.
• Facilitate collaboration among various business units to ensure technology strategies align with enterprise goals, promoting transparency in prioritization, accountability, and measurable results.
• Foster executive alignment on critical initiatives, accelerating decision-making and ensuring cohesive execution across the enterprise.
• Lead the development of executive-level communications, including board presentations, dashboards, and insights that effectively communicate IT strategy, advancements, risks, and value generation.
• Manage company-wide IT communications, enhancing transparency and trust among both internal and external stakeholders.
• Oversee strategic vendor and partner relationships, ensuring optimal performance, innovation, and commercial benefits.
• Supervise the IT operating budget, promoting financial discipline, accurate forecasting, cost efficiency, and effective allocation of resources.
• Direct enterprise-wide strategic programs and initiatives, ensuring alignment of scope, risk management, and consistent achievement of business objectives.
• Implement contemporary delivery practices, governance frameworks, and portfolio management methodologies to boost execution reliability and operational excellence.
• Lead the multi-year IT strategic planning and technology roadmapping in alignment with business strategies, digital modernization objectives, and innovation priorities.
• Assess emerging technologies and industry trends to guide strategic investment choices.
• Identify operational bottlenecks and organizational challenges, designing and executing process enhancements that improve productivity, service quality, and collaboration.
• Promote a culture of continuous improvement, data-informed decision-making, and customer-focused IT service delivery.
• A Bachelor’s degree is required; an advanced degree is preferred.
• 10–15+ years of progressive leadership experience in IT, digital transformation, technology strategy, or related fields.
• Proven experience serving as a strategic advisor, chief of staff, or thought partner to senior executives, preferably within a technology organization.
