This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Illinois.
β’ Lead the implementation of sales strategies and initiatives within designated markets.
β’ Design and oversee the sales cycle and methodology.
β’ Work in collaboration with marketing leadership, sales management, and other internal teams to identify and cultivate new customers for IFS products and services.
β’ Provide precise forecasts that align with the company's cash flow objectives and formulate annual sales strategies to meet or surpass corporate goals, enhancing revenue and profitability.
β’ Manage and develop a continuous pipeline while recognizing opportunities and fostering new project developments.
β’ Regularly identify and assess leading indicators to encourage optimal behaviors within the sales team.
β’ Analyze and evaluate the effectiveness of sales processes, costs, and outcomes.
β’ Develop and manage the sales budget, and supervise the creation and management of the internal operating budget.
β’ Engage directly with key client accounts, delivering value-based sales presentations in collaboration with sales representatives, and oversee the management of all other accounts.
β’ Build long-lasting business relationships with customers, strategic partners, and influencers.
β’ Actively seek new business leads and opportunities, targeting medium to large companies.
β’ Oversee staffing, training, and performance evaluations to enhance the sales program.
β’ Assist in developing the competencies and capabilities of the sales team.
β’ Coach and inspire the sales team to meet objectives.
β’ Represent the company at various business meetings to advocate for the organization.
β’ Supervise the preparation, issuance, and distribution of sales materials, exhibits, and promotional programs.
β’ Foster positive relationships with partners, vendors, and distributors.
β’ Set and implement both short-term and long-term departmental goals, objectives, policies, and operating procedures.
β’ Possess strong negotiation skills and a solid understanding of contract management.
β’ A bachelor's degree in a business discipline from an accredited four-year college or university is required.
β’ An MBA or a master's degree in Sales/Marketing is preferred.
β’ At least 10 years of experience in selling complex business software or IT solutions, along with start-up and/or management consulting experience with a focus on value selling.
β’ Demonstrated success in complex sales at the C-level with a collaborative and impactful approach.
β’ Previous P&L responsibility and experience leading a high-performing sales team is essential.
