This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Alabama, +8 more states.
• Collaborate with the Senior Vice President of District Sales to establish and accomplish company-wide objectives related to sales, profit, market share, and customer satisfaction.
• Manage sales operations in the South District by directing Regional Managers, Territory Representatives, and regional branch logistics.
• Supervise the sales of specialty products and services.
• Achieve district performance targets.
• Set and uphold high-performance standards for the Benco sales and equipment support team.
• Track and enhance district and regional market share.
• Assess and improve district and regional customer satisfaction levels.
• Formulate district operating and capital budgets.
• Oversee equipment sales, logistics, local inventory, and technology integration initiatives.
• Guide the equipment support team in delivering technical services, driving profitable growth, and ensuring customer satisfaction.
• Mentor and empower Regional Sales Managers to enhance their leadership, organizational, planning, problem-solving, selling, and work habits.
• Attract, recruit, develop, and retain top talent.
• Assist in the creation and implementation of compensation programs for district teams.
• Execute training programs for sales representatives, equipment support technicians, and Regional Managers.
• Convey Benco's strategy and vision to district sales and service teams.
• Monitor regional sales productivity and customer outcomes.
• Set and accomplish quarterly sales promotions.
• Work collaboratively with sales peers and marketing teams.
• Oversee equipment logistics, serialized inventory management, and accounts receivable processes.
• Foster team cohesion among Regional Managers and Directors.
• Observe the implementation of marketing programs and assess competitor activities through field travel.
• Engage with vendor partners and manage manufacturer co-travels within the district.
• Must either reside in or be willing to relocate to NC, SC, GA, FL, AL, TN, AR, LA, MS, TX, or OK.
• Bachelor's degree in Business, Communications, or a related field, or equivalent education/experience.
• A Master's degree is preferred but not mandatory.
• A minimum of ten years of sales management experience overseeing multiple regions and leading teams.
• A solid background in sales and management is essential.
• A dependable vehicle is required.
• Must possess a valid driver's license and maintain an acceptable driving record.
• Willingness to travel within the assigned region, which includes frequent overnight stays.
• The candidate must reside in the designated district.
• Ability to manage, coach, develop, train, and motivate leaders and team members.
• Exceptional communication abilities are necessary.
• Proficiency in people and change management skills.
• Strong computer skills are required.
• Experience in project management to lead strategic initiatives cross-functionally.
• Analytical skills to anticipate future growth opportunities and challenges.
