Vice President of Partner Care

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in United States.

📋 Description

• Report directly to the Senior Vice President of Partner Care, with secondary reporting to the President.

• Initiate discussions with the leadership of rescue missions and various Christian ministries dedicated to serving the impoverished to organize initial meetings.

• Cultivate relationships with interested rescue missions and ministries until they either enroll students or express a lack of interest.

• Nurture existing partnerships through regular meetings to enhance student referrals to City Vision.

• Collaborate with CVU academic leadership to devise innovative solutions that address the educational and training needs of partners, staff, and students.

• Attend conferences, workshops, and events to coordinate meetings during and after these gatherings.

• Participate in regular staff and supervision meetings, which include an annual in-person staff gathering.

• Engage in and lead staff chapel and prayer sessions on Zoom.

• Provide assistance in other areas as mutually agreed upon.

⛳️ Requirements

• A minimum of an accredited Bachelor's degree or over 10 years of experience working at a Gospel Rescue Mission.

• Prior work experience with Gospel Rescue Missions; experience within the Gospel Rescue Mission movement is mandatory.

• Strong background and core competencies in nonprofit executive leadership, development/fundraising, business development, and/or sales.

• Proven dedication to the Christian mission, vision, and values that focus on serving those who are poor and struggling with addiction.

• Excellent relationship-building, communication, and presentation abilities.

• Highly proficient technical skills, including extensive experience or training with Customer Relationship Management Database, Google Docs, Google Spreadsheets, Microsoft Word, Excel Spreadsheets, and Windows.

• Comfortable with initiating cold outreach and following up in a persistent yet professional manner.

• Must be a U.S. citizen or lawful permanent resident alien with valid work authorization.

• Required to perform the religious functions of the ministerial role, including supporting spiritual needs and leading corporate worship and prayer.

• Reliable internet connection and fluency in digital workflows, including Zoom, Google Workspace, SIS, and CRM.

• Capability to provide a private, quiet workspace free from distractions to ensure FERPA compliance.

• Ability to remain stationary for 75–90% of the time and perform repetitive hand and finger motions.

• Proficient in conveying complex instructions through video conferencing and phone communication.

• Ability to self-manage time and maintain focus without direct supervision.

• Spiritual maturity and cognitive focus to align with Christian values and lead prayer and chapel sessions.

• High emotional intelligence, resilience, empathy, and professional composure when dealing with partner dynamics and at-risk populations.
