This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in United States.
• Oversee the Underwriting, Processing, and Closing operations to consistently drive revenue by achieving origination, quality, velocity, and homeowner experience objectives while ensuring operational excellence throughout the production funnel.
• Lead and nurture a team of production leaders, enhancing managerial capabilities in performance management, coaching, resource planning, accountability, and employee growth, fostering a culture where managers effectively drive individual contributor performance, efficiency, and accountability.
• Set clear operational objectives and performance expectations that align daily team activities with wider company goals. Track key production metrics, identify trends and operational bottlenecks, and proactively implement solutions to enhance results.
• Spearhead continuous improvement initiatives that boost production capacity, minimize operational friction, and improve team effectiveness. Create scalable processes, workflows, and operating models that empower individual contributors to manage greater volume with increased independence and efficiency.
• Direct change management initiatives across production operations, ensuring teams effectively adopt new processes, technologies, policies, and organizational changes while maintaining performance and engagement levels.
• Utilize data and analytics to predict production performance, assess team capacity, identify operational risks, and guide strategic decision-making. Regularly present insights, recommendations, and performance updates to executive leadership.
• Manage Salesforce reporting and production analytics, collaborating with Product and other stakeholders to create dashboards, reporting frameworks, and operational visibility that support decision-making and enhance business performance.
• Oversee the execution of investment risk policies, including updates to underwriting guidelines, governance of exception authority, and operational implementation of evolving business and risk strategies.
• Implement workforce planning and organizational design strategies in collaboration with Finance and People Operations to ensure optimal staffing levels, leadership coverage, and scalability.
• 7+ years of leadership experience in operations within real estate, mortgage, fintech, or financial services.
• Demonstrated experience in leading leaders, including managing and developing managers responsible for high-performing production teams in hybrid and remote settings.
• Strong cross-functional leadership capabilities with the ability to influence stakeholders, foster alignment, and drive results across various departments.
• Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Excel, Google Sheets, and Salesforce reporting, including creating dashboards, forecasting performance, monitoring funnel health, and providing actionable business insights.
• Proven track record of enhancing operational performance through process improvement, capacity planning, performance management, and scalable team structures.
• Established ability to align daily operational execution with overarching business objectives, translating company goals into clear priorities, expectations, and outcomes for teams.
• Exceptional analytical and problem-solving abilities with the capacity to identify operational challenges, assess root causes, and implement practical, data-driven solutions.
• Experience leading teams through organizational growth, process enhancements, system implementations, and other change management efforts.
• High level of ownership and accountability, with a proactive approach to action, problem-solving, and delivering results amidst ambiguity or operational challenges.
