Vice President of Client Service – Direct Response Fundraising

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Maryland.

📋 Description

• Manage the strategy, planning, and execution of a comprehensive direct mail fundraising initiative, overseeing the process from initial concept through production, analysis, and long-term optimization.

• Collaborate closely with internal teams in Creative, Analytics, and Production to ensure campaigns are well-conceived, integrated, and yield strong results.

• Act as the primary client partner, cultivating deep relationships, providing strategic advice, and assisting in navigating complex decisions regarding budgets, creative direction, and program growth.

• Lead and mentor a team of fundraising professionals, promoting a collaborative and high-performance culture while supporting their continuous development.

⛳️ Requirements

• 10+ years of progressive experience in direct response fundraising.

• Extensive knowledge in direct mail fundraising, with a background in integrating digital and other channels.

• Demonstrated capability to lead large-scale, high-volume, or highly complex fundraising programs with multiple components.

• Strong client management skills and experience acting as a senior strategic advisor.

• Experience in managing and developing high-performing teams.

• Proficient in budgeting, forecasting, and performance analysis.

• Excellent communication and presentation skills, including the ability to translate data into actionable recommendations.

• Capacity to handle competing priorities in a fast-paced, deadline-oriented environment.
