This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in United States.
• Lead sales initiatives focused on Vertical Digital Services.
• Collaborate closely with a Vertical Industry Sales Leader, Industry Subject Matter Expert (SME), and the wider sales team to develop and implement a technical sales strategy aligned with vertical markets, aimed at surpassing revenue targets through the adoption of Presidio Digital services, including application modernization, application development, artificial intelligence (AI/GenAI), and data platform modernization, as well as associated vertical offerings and accelerators.
• Work in tandem with a Vertical Industry Sales Leader to establish, co-lead, and continually enhance shared guidelines and practices for opportunity onboarding, prioritization, team rhythms, pursuit management, and account planning.
• Hold accountability for enforcing the PreSales and Vertical team’s shared guidelines and practices.
• Actively mentor, coach, and empower team members on a regular basis.
• Facilitate periodic team meetings to share and receive feedback.
• Implement professional growth and career development programs for team members.
• Provide timely feedback to leadership regarding staff performance and opportunities.
• Oversee the execution and resolution of HR and compensation-related activities for team members.
• Proactively recruit candidates for all positions and drive personalized retention and reward strategies for employees.
• Actively engage in client account activities that position the Solution Architect as a trusted advisor, both internally and with clients.
• Serve as the technical leadership representative for strategic accounts within a specific vertical.
• Lead key strategic opportunities in application modernization, application development, artificial intelligence (AI), and data solutions to achieve successful outcomes with Presidio service solutions.
• Identify customer stakeholders along with their success metrics and requirements.
• Develop and guide technical solution strategies and next steps in alignment with customer stakeholders.
• Coordinate and align Presidio technical resources as necessary.
• Directly engage with Manager/VP/Director/C-Suite levels at client organizations.
• Act as the primary contact for escalations regarding opportunities.
• Maintain a high standard of technical excellence and advocacy across various relevant solution architectures, product areas, and industries.
• Curate and deliver relevant technical knowledge, presentations, and discussions at all client levels and events.
• Actively participate in technical champion programs and community engagements.
• Attain relevant certifications as appropriate.
• Continuously learn, discuss, and present on new and emerging relevant topics.
• Proactively drive the discovery and understanding of customers’ IT current states, goals, outcomes, and initiatives across Business, Technical, Operational, and Financial aspects.
• Research industry trends and topics to develop effective discovery strategies.
• Design and conduct workshops aimed at facilitating relevant discovery.
• Document the customer's current state to aid sales teams in targeting future state architectures and roadmaps.
• Function as a leadership liaison between customers, sales, and delivery resources to ensure customer success.
• Collaborate with delivery engineering leadership to ensure quality and well-managed risk solutions and staffing for customer proposals.
• Serve as the contact point for delivery engineering leadership concerning solution scoping escalations for the Principal Architects on the team.
• Engage with Presidio team members, actively participate in team initiatives, and contribute to collaboration tools to foster a positive, inclusive, resilient, and change-oriented team culture.
• Build strong relationships with vendor partner teams and peers, focusing on hyper-scaler cloud solutions and relevant ecosystems.
• Strategically plan and execute career development activities for yourself and your team.
• Seek collaboration with key stakeholders to enhance presales processes and go-to-market strategies.
• Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience, including military experience.
• A minimum of 13 years of relevant experience.
• At least 10 years of experience in architecture, design, implementation, and/or consulting within digital and/or cloud technologies.
• Proven experience and expertise in the Financial Services (FinSrv) industry.
• Over 5 years of specific domain experience in one or more areas such as application and software development, application modernization, data estates, and data platforms.
• More than 5 years of hands-on experience with AWS, Azure, and/or GCP.
• A minimum of 4 years of experience in consultative presales; must exhibit curiosity and creativity.
• Comfortable leading presentations and discussions with internal leadership and external clients.
• Possess a growth mindset with a drive for exploring new ideas and actively seeking mentorship and coaching.
• Collaborative approach with the ability to engage with a diverse range of stakeholders.
