This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in United States.
• Establish the Brand Vision: Define and enhance how Vanta is represented across all touchpoints. Ensure the brand remains consistent, distinctive, and clearly differentiated in Creative, Content & Social, and Communications.
• Lead Creative Initiatives: Develop and expand a world-class creative organization encompassing brand design, advertising, web, video, motion, and production. Set the visual and experiential standards for Vanta. Cultivate strong second-line leadership and uphold a high standard of craftsmanship. Embrace cutting-edge AI tools to continually seek a competitive advantage.
• Manage Content & Social: Oversee Vanta’s voice, editorial direction, and presence across owned channels. Create programming that garners attention and encourages sharing, from short-form videos to data-driven storytelling. Establish a clear perspective on emerging trends and how Vanta engages with culture, ensuring it remains relevant and hard to overlook.
• Direct Communications Strategy: Oversee Vanta’s external narrative across various media, analysts, and industry influencers. Foster narrative ownership and enhance share of voice within our category. Increase earned media and develop a sustainable executive thought leadership platform.
• Generate Measurable Brand Impact: Construct a brand engine that stimulates demand, raises awareness, and links investment to pipeline and revenue through clear leading indicators.
• Create Engaging In-Person Experiences: Design Vanta’s presence at events, conferences, and experiential moments, including our flagship conference and significant industry events like RSA.
• Experiment and Scale: Test innovative creative concepts across new formats and channels. Transition successful ideas into repeatable systems and playbooks.
• Collaborate with Leadership: Partner closely with the CMO, CEO, and cross-functional leaders in Growth, Product Marketing, and Product to ensure brand initiatives drive business results.
• Possess 15+ years of brand and creative leadership experience, preferably within high-growth B2B SaaS or technical consumer sectors.
• Have managed multiple distinct yet interconnected functions such as Creative, Content, Social, and Communications, aligning them under a unified strategy.
• Be a proficient narrative builder and storyteller, capable of transforming complex subjects like security and trust into relatable, urgent, and human stories. Understand when to employ a meme, a manifesto, or a metric, and how each contributes to impact.
• Have successfully built and scaled high-performing teams, including second-line leadership.
• Have advanced brands for enterprise audiences while maintaining their humanity, sharpness, and cultural relevance.
• Present a portfolio that demonstrates creative excellence linked to business outcomes.
• Hold a distinct viewpoint on social media and how brands capture attention in the current landscape.
• Have led or closely collaborated with communications teams to craft narratives that attract media, analyst, and influencer attention.
• Understand the synergy between brand and performance marketing, aligning both towards growth.
• Exhibit both strategic and operational capabilities, setting direction while establishing processes for execution.
• Have experience managing internal teams, agencies, and external partners.
• Be an outstanding communicator who can inspire teams and influence executives.
• Have strong cross-functional instincts and a history of partnering with Growth, Product Marketing, Product, and Design teams.
• Display curiosity about security, compliance, and the future of trust, motivated to make these topics contemporary and relevant.
• Must be authorized to work in the U.S. without requiring current or future employer sponsorship.
• Responsible for safeguarding Vanta and customer data in your team's operations and results delivery.
• Open to leveraging AI to enhance skills and improve work quality, demonstrating curiosity, a willingness to learn, and sound judgment in applying AI responsibly to boost efficiency and impact.
