This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in United States.
• Directly report to the Chief Marketing Officer (CMO).
• Serve as the company representative on matters related to medical and clinical issues.
• Collaborate closely with marketing teams requiring the translation of clinical and medical information.
• Oversee a worldwide team of Medical Science Liaisons (MSLs).
• Identify and cultivate relationships with key opinion leaders (KOLs) and healthcare professionals involved in breast cancer treatment.
• Share scientific information and resources with KOLs.
• Manage ongoing activities related to medical communications, clinical trial operations, and medical marketing initiatives.
• Engage in the planning and execution of medical marketing, clinical registry programs, and customer service efforts that align with strategic business objectives.
• Conduct interviews, hire, onboard, and perform performance evaluations for the global MSL team.
• Collaborate with existing and prospective partners within the oncology sector.
• Work with managed care to create clinical and medical documentation for reimbursement purposes.
• Assist the management team with regulatory affairs as required.
• Provide medical and clinical insights during the new product development process.
• Offer strategic leadership for the global Medical Affairs function to ensure consistency with corporate goals.
• An advanced Clinical/Science Degree is preferred (e.g., PhD, PharmD, MSN, MPH, etc.).
• A minimum of a Master of Science Degree is required.
• At least 5 years of experience in leading and developing global Medical Affairs teams across various regions, cultures, and time zones.
• A minimum of 10 years of progressive experience in Medical Affairs within the pharmaceutical, biotechnology, or life sciences sectors, including at least 5 years in a senior leadership position.
• Experience in Oncology, particularly in breast cancer and solid tumors, is preferred.
• Understanding of and experience in Cancer Genomics and Genetics.
• A minimum of 5 years of experience in data analytics.
• Proficiency in public speaking.
• Global management experience is a plus.
