This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in United States.
• Develop and implement a cohesive market strategy, including value propositions, positioning, priorities, success metrics, investments, and operational rhythms.
• Facilitate cross-departmental collaboration among Sales, Product, Member Experience, and additional teams.
• Act as the representative of E3n to school leaders, members, partners, sector influencers, and Board-level audiences.
• Execute post-merger brand integration, which encompasses brand voice, messaging, visual identity, tone, and the rebranding of essential assets.
• Craft audience-specific messaging to enhance E3n’s thought leadership and market presence.
• Develop member segmentation and multi-channel lifecycle strategies aimed at boosting engagement, retention, product adoption, and expansion.
• Formulate marketing plans for Professional Learning and communications related to product launches.
• Enhance onboarding processes, adoption strategies, renewal readiness, and long-term member value.
• Equip Sales with messaging, competitive differentiators, competitor profiles, campaign assets, and sales enablement materials.
• Convert revenue priorities into campaign briefs, audience strategies, content plans, calls to action, and channel recommendations.
• Establish metrics for reporting on campaign performance, lead quality, engagement, and marketing contributions.
• Implement customer feedback processes that inform messaging, product positioning, launches, and customer-facing content.
• Refine positioning for products and services while developing competitor messaging frameworks.
• Support the adoption and scaling of new products, including Wild Zebra and blended admissions assessment offerings.
• Foster partnerships including Committee for Children, Wild Zebra, and Test Innovators.
• Create marketing tools, processes, dashboards, KPIs, reporting routines, and action plans.
• Oversee, mentor, and develop the marketing team, which includes five full-time employees and a marketing communications resource.
• Manage the marketing budget, financial controls, vendor relationships, and expenses.
• A Bachelor's degree in marketing, communications, business, or a related discipline, or equivalent practical experience.
• Over 15 years of relevant professional experience, including substantial leadership roles in functions, teams, or significant organizational initiatives.
• Progressive experience in marketing leadership across various domains including marketing communications, product marketing, lifecycle/customer or member marketing, growth marketing, campaign strategy, and marketing operations.
• Proven ability to develop and execute integrated, multi-channel marketing strategies across email, social media, websites, events, webinars, member portals, print materials, direct mail, and partner channels.
• A history of supporting Sales with enablement tools that drive member acquisition, retention, product expansion, and revenue growth.
• Proficiency in B2B and B2C marketing strategies, including segmentation, buyer personas, market research, customer journeys, and audience-specific messaging.
• Experience with CRM, marketing automation, campaign analytics, and performance reporting tools.
• Background in managing personnel, budgets, vendors, timelines, and cross-functional collaboration in a dynamic, results-focused environment.
• Preferred experience in EdTech, education services, assessment, and enrollment.
• Familiarity with the private and independent school landscape is preferred.
• Experience in membership-based organizations is preferred.
• Hands-on experience with HubSpot, Salesforce, Pardot, Marketing Cloud, or similar marketing technology tools is preferred.
• Experience in marketing conferences, annual meetings, webinars, sponsored events, partner campaigns, or professional learning offerings is preferred.
• Approximately 20–25% travel required for team meetings, member and partner engagement, conferences, and E3n events.
