Vice President – IT

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in United States.

📋 Description

• Formulate and implement a long-term IT strategy that supports the company's overarching business goals.

• Identify and integrate emerging technologies (including AI, machine learning, or automation) to enhance outdated processes.

• Serve as the principal technical advisor to the executive team, translating intricate technical ideas into tangible business results.

• Supervise the design and upkeep of scalable, dependable, and secure enterprise systems (Cloud, On-prem, and Hybrid).

• Ensure the continuous availability of all internal and external-facing systems, adhering to strict Service Level Agreements (SLAs).

• Negotiate and oversee contracts with third-party vendors, Managed Service Providers (MSPs), and software suppliers.

• Lead the formulation of a comprehensive security strategy to safeguard company data, intellectual property, and customer privacy.

• Develop and test Business Continuity (BC) and Disaster Recovery (DR) plans to minimize downtime during outages or breaches.

• Ensure compliance with relevant legal and industry standards to achieve optimal service and cost-effectiveness.

• Create and manage the annual IT CAPEX and OPEX budgets, ensuring maximum Return on Investment (ROI).

• Build, mentor, and lead a high-achieving IT team; promote a culture of continuous learning and technical excellence.

• Prioritize projects and resources across the IT department to adhere to deadlines and ensure business continuity.

⛳️ Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a closely related technical discipline.

• 10-15 years of experience in the IT sector with a demonstrated track record of driving results and implementing process improvements throughout an organization.

• 8+ years of progressive IT management experience, including senior leadership roles.

• Proven ability to manage multi-million dollar budgets and lead cross-functional teams of at least 20-50+ members.

• Demonstrated capability to align technology strategies with business objectives and executive priorities.

• Skilled in developing frameworks to gather, evaluate, and present highly technical data in a professional business setting.
