This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in United States.
• Take ownership of the adoption of IJM’s global marketing strategy, campaign frameworks, and brand standards across all Advancement Offices outside the U.S.
• Lead the integration of direct response, digital, and storytelling channels in each market, making local adaptations while adhering to global guidelines.
• Ensure local teams are equipped with the necessary tools, training, and resources to implement global directives effectively.
• Assist local leaders in upholding consistent craftsmanship and quality across all marketing outputs.
• Develop in-market marketing capabilities through targeted coaching and development initiatives.
• Promote craft excellence and mission-driven urgency, benchmarked against commercial marketing standards.
• Convert global marketing strategy into actionable, market-specific plans for Advancement Office Chief Executives and Regional Presidents.
• Represent international marketing performance and priorities to senior organizational leadership.
• Address significant misalignments between global standards and market execution to the CMO, accompanied by recommendations.
• Oversee the rollout, testing, and adoption of new marketing products and initiatives across international Advancement Offices.
• Connect Advancement Offices to campaign insights and research while incorporating regional learnings into global planning.
• Maintain feedback loops on performance and encourage strategic adaptability.
• Engage in IJM’s community of spiritual formation.
• Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Business, or a related discipline.
• 10-12+ years of progressive marketing leadership experience, including international or multi-market leadership roles.
• Demonstrated experience in building and leading regional teams within a matrixed or federated structure.
• Experience collaborating with fundraising or revenue leadership to achieve shared growth objectives.
• In-depth expertise in campaign frameworks, brand standards implementation, and channel strategy across international markets.
• Strong proficiency in project and workflow management platforms, such as Teamwork and Asana.
• Capacity to translate global marketing strategies into locally relevant, market-specific execution plans.
• Exceptional cross-cultural fluency and emotional intelligence across diverse global markets.
• Excellent communication skills for engaging with regional leaders and international executive stakeholders.
• Ability to lead through influence with Advancement Office Chief Executives who do not report directly to this role.
• Willingness to travel up to 40% per year, both internationally and domestically.
• Mature orthodox Christian faith as outlined by the Apostles’ Creed.
