β’ Reporting directly to the CFO, the Vice President of Human Resources will act as the chief architect of our personnel framework during a phase of substantial organizational expansion.
β’ This leader will be responsible for the entire employee lifecycle β encompassing talent acquisition strategy, performance management, total rewards, and company culture β ensuring the organization can attract, nurture, and retain top talent.
β’ Build, manage, and develop members of the HR team.
β’ Establish clear objectives, priorities, and operational rhythms for the HR function; hold the team accountable for measurable results and service-level expectations.
β’ Function as a player-coach β actively engaging in all HR disciplines while mentoring current HR team members.
β’ Collaborate with Finance to oversee the HR department budget, including headcount, systems, and program expenditures; identify opportunities for efficiency as the function grows.
β’ Act as the primary escalation point for complex, sensitive, or high-risk employee relations issues, such as allegations of misconduct, harassment complaints, and performance disputes.
β’ Provide guidance to managers and executives on addressing performance challenges, disciplinary measures, and involuntary separations in a legally compliant manner that aligns with company values.
β’ Implement a scalable performance review process aligned with organizational objectives; coach people managers on delivering effective feedback.
β’ Work closely with Legal/General Counsel on issues that involve litigation risk, regulatory exposure, or require formal legal advice.
β’ Design and implement a scalable recruiting engine to facilitate headcount growth from approximately ~[X] to ~[2X] employees within a 24-month timeframe.
β’ 8β12 years of progressive HR experience, with at least 3+ years in a director-level, VP, or senior HR business partner position.
β’ Previous experience in a high-growth technology or SaaS organization is highly preferred; experience scaling through periods of growth.
β’ Experience in private equity and/or venture capital-backed SaaS companies is strongly preferred.
β’ Proven success in establishing HR infrastructure (systems, processes, policies) from the ground up or in a rapidly changing environment.
β’ In-depth knowledge of employment law, compensation strategies, and benefits administration.
β’ Strong business acumen; comfortable collaborating with Finance, Legal, and the executive leadership team.
β’ Exceptional interpersonal and communication skills; possesses a high emotional quotient with the ability to foster trust at all levels of the organization.
β’ Bachelor's degree required; HR certification (PHR, SPHR, SHRM-CP, SHRM-SCP) preferred.
