This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in United States.
• Conduct research and uphold compliance standards concerning labor laws across U.S. states (such as posters, classifications, OSHA requirements, and onboarding documentation).
• Oversee the management of onboarding paperwork (including W-9, I-9, contractor agreements, per diem forms, insurance documents, etc.).
• Ensure accurate classification of workers (W-2 versus 1099) in accordance with state regulations.
• Provide support to Spanish-speaking contractors during the onboarding process and subsequent check-ins.
• Monitor worker documentation and guarantee timely renewals.
• Collaborate with payroll and finance departments regarding per diem, hours worked, and any compliance-related matters.
• Aid in maintaining digital records and updating internal compliance databases.
• Proficient in both Spanish and English (both spoken and written).
• Minimum of 2 years of experience in HR, recruiting coordination, or compliance (preferably within the U.S.).
• Knowledge of U.S. employment classifications, onboarding procedures, and basic labor law principles.
• Exceptional organizational and administrative capabilities.
• Familiarity with tools such as Google Workspace, DocuSign, Gusto, ADP, QuickBooks, and Airtable (preferred but not mandatory).
• Ability to work remotely across different time zones and manage sensitive documentation effectively.
