Benefits Specialist

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in United States.

📋 Description

• Support the development, implementation, administration, and ongoing management of healthcare programs.

• Oversee the administration, maintenance, communication, and education regarding the company's Wellbeing program/platform.

• Engage in various benefits initiatives, focusing on the design and execution of compensation programs.

• Assist with benefits matters during new hire onboarding and employee termination processes.

• Create benefits communications and provide guidance to team members on complex benefits-related inquiries.

⛳️ Requirements

• A Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources or a related field is advantageous, or equivalent professional experience.

• At least 4 years of substantial, hands-on experience in corporate human resources, specifically in employee benefits.

• Proficient in managing Open/Annual Enrollment for health and wellness plans.

• Knowledge of state and federal employment and employee benefit laws and regulations, including ERISA, COBRA, ACA, HIPAA, and FMLA.

• Experience with the administration of 401(k) plans is preferred.
