HR Generalist

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Utah.

📋 Description

• Collaborate with hiring managers to source, interview, and onboard suitable candidates for vacant positions, ensuring a streamlined and positive candidate experience.

• Conduct or coordinate background investigations and verify employment eligibility.

• Create and facilitate an engaging new hire orientation that equips employees for success from their first day.

• Manage and implement HR programs related to compensation, benefits, leave, performance management, recognition, and employee development.

• Monitor, track, and document adherence to mandatory and non-mandatory training, certification, and licensing requirements.

• Establish and promote employee recognition initiatives that embody the culture and values of RainFocus.

• Address employment-related questions from employees, applicants, and managers, escalating sensitive or complex issues as needed.

• Participate in and provide support during employee disciplinary meetings, investigations, and terminations with professionalism and care.

• Ensure that HR practices are in accordance with federal, state, and local employment laws and regulations; regularly review and update policies as necessary.

• Keep abreast of HR trends, regulatory updates, and best practices regarding talent management and employment law.

• May assist in overseeing the scheduling, assignments, and workflow of HR support staff.

• May aid managers in delivering timely and constructive performance evaluations.

⛳️ Requirements

• A Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or a related discipline is required.

• 3–5 years of progressive experience as an HR Generalist in a professional setting.

• SHRM-CP or PHR certification is highly preferred; actively pursuing certification is advantageous.
