This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in New Jersey.
• Build robust functional expertise by identifying, attracting, and nurturing a top-tier Clinical Development & Medical Affairs team.
• Provide effective coaching and training to enhance technical and leadership capabilities for optimal performance and future succession planning.

• Propel the growth agenda within the therapeutic area by focusing and aligning resources with critical priorities regionally and globally, emphasizing relevant global franchises alongside other functions and Corporate/Headquarters teams.
• Formulate a cross-functional medical strategy that is aligned with and supports the commercial strategy.
• Collaborate with the Commercial team to deliver strategic medical insights that inform the portfolio strategy.
• Manage key interactions with the relevant global franchise team.
• Work with Global Development to establish the strategic direction for Clinical Development & Medical Affairs throughout development and lifecycle management activities.
• Bachelor’s degree or equivalent 4-Year University Degree; Doctorate level degree (MD, PharmD, or PhD in Biological Sciences or a related field).
• A minimum of twelve years of progressively senior experience in clinical development or medical affairs within the pharmaceutical, biotechnology, or academic institution/clinical practice.
• Over five years of experience in people management and team leadership, demonstrating a strong record of managing and developing senior medical talent is preferred.
• More than three years of experience in the immunology/respiratory sector within the pharmaceutical industry.
• Comprehensive understanding of the United States healthcare landscape, including payor dynamics, access pathways, and current trends in the healthcare system.
• Strong grasp of "good promotional practices" as defined by PhRMA, OIG, and ABPI Guidelines, as well as independent medical education as outlined by ACCME.
• Robust clinical research experience, encompassing protocol development, clinical trial operations, and leading patient recruitment strategies.
• Proven expertise in health economics, outcomes research, and real-world evidence to facilitate patient access, reimbursement, and value demonstration.
• Demonstrated ability to influence at the enterprise level, shaping strategy, aligning senior stakeholders, and driving impact across both US and Global organizations.
