This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Texas.

📋 Description

• Establish and uphold a clear vision for the Sales Engineering team, fostering accountability, enthusiasm, a results-driven approach, and a growth mindset within the organization.

• Guide the Regional Sales Engineers Managers in nurturing their teams and surpassing performance benchmarks.

• Collaborate closely with sales to formulate success plans and engagement strategies aimed at boosting ARR with both existing and prospective customers. Participate in pivotal customer meetings to showcase Anomali solutions.

• Deliver outstanding pre-sales technical expertise through product demonstrations and training for the global Sales Engineer organization, ensuring peak performance.

• Partner with Anomali's leadership team on sales strategies, product direction, and solution positioning.

• Serve as a business resource for customers and prospects, employing “industry expert” executive-level sales practices with consistent communication and ongoing technical support.

• Actively pursue Strategic and Enterprise account opportunities within key territory accounts.

• Utilize extensive market knowledge to become a trusted advisor for customers, effectively shortening the sales cycle.

• Collaborate with Sales, Marketing, and Product Managers, acting as the technical link between Anomali’s Enterprise Business Representatives (demand generation) and pre-sales clients.

• Facilitate continuous sales enablement focused on market, product, and competitive insights for the field sales engineering team.

• Assess and devise methods to streamline the proof of value sales process with both direct and channel partners.

• Provide hands-on experience to develop solution demonstrations that align with customers' business use cases.

• Engage in regional industry events and organizations as a thought leader in the industry.


⛳️ Requirements

• 10-15 years of industry experience in sales engineering, particularly within the cyber security sector, with SIEM/Security Analytics experience being essential.

• Proven sales leadership experience in high-tech enterprise software sales with a prominent software product company.

• Familiarity with market trends in the cyber security field and awareness of key industry competitors.

• Ability to swiftly learn, apply, and position technical knowledge relevant to Anomali’s technology and competitive offerings.

• Demonstrated capability to advocate for and establish the value proposition surrounding security applications.

• A collaborative team player with a positive demeanor and strong written and verbal communication skills, capable of engaging confidently with high-level decision-makers and large audiences.

• Comprehensive understanding of general networking concepts and operating systems, including Linux and Windows.

• Strong grasp of security and information event management (SIEM).

• Preferred hands-on experience with SIEM/XDR technologies such as Splunk, ArcSight, QRadar, Exabeam, and Sentinel.

• Proficient in scripting languages like Python/Perl.

• Proven ability to manage Proof of Concept and solution demonstrations effectively.

• Excellent presentation skills and a commitment to ensuring customer satisfaction.

• Comfortable engaging with customers and audiences confidently.

• A proactive individual with a strong work ethic and self-motivation.
