This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in United States.
• Act as the primary finance executive for strategic customer initiatives, significant pursuits, managed services agreements, and intricate commercial transactions on a global scale.
• Collaborate with Sales, Operations, Services, Legal, and Executive Leadership to design customer agreements that enhance profitability, cash flow, and create long-term value.
• Create and sustain pricing frameworks, approval matrices, margin thresholds, and processes for commercial governance.
• Review and authorize pricing exceptions, discount requests, non-standard commercial terms, and financial arrangements tailored to specific customers.
• Direct financial modeling and scenario analysis for substantial opportunities, including multi-year contracts, service agreements, and technology solutions.
• Assess deal profitability, risk exposure, working capital needs, and return on investment before seeking executive approval.
• Establish best practices for evaluating gross margin, contribution margin, recurring revenue, and customer lifetime value.
• Track actual contract performance against sanctioned business cases and suggest corrective measures when necessary.
• Create executive reports and dashboards related to pricing effectiveness, win rates, margin performance, and commercial trends.
• Aid in mergers, acquisitions, and strategic investments through financial analysis, valuation support, pricing evaluations, integration planning, and treasury readiness activities.
• Bachelor’s degree in finance, Accounting, Economics, Business Administration, or a related discipline.
• Over 12 years of progressive experience in Commercial Finance and Pricing, with exposure to one or more areas such as Treasury, Corporate Finance, or Investment Banking.
• Proven track record in leading a pricing function, ideally having built or significantly scaled pricing governance from an early stage.
• At least 7 years of leadership experience with a strong ability to influence executive leadership and cross-functional partners (particularly Sales and Legal); direct management experience is necessary, though managing large teams is not a requirement.
• Demonstrated experience in supporting large-scale customer opportunities and conducting complex commercial negotiations.
• Solid understanding of pricing methodologies, financial modeling, and profitability analysis.
• Experience in presenting recommendations to executive leadership, boards, lenders, or investors.
• Experience working within a global, matrixed organization.
• Preferred Experience
• Background in technology, systems integration, audiovisual, managed services, professional services, or project-based businesses.
• Experience supporting private equity organizations.
• Familiarity with recurring revenue and managed services business models.
• Exposure to treasury, liquidity, or capital planning.
• Experience in a mid-market or scaling environment where processes were established rather than inherited.
• Certified Treasury Professional (CTP), CPA, CFA, or MBA is preferred.
