Vice President, Global Energy Origination – Structuring Power

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Washington.

📋 Description

• Lead an international team of energy professionals to obtain cost-effective energy solutions.

• Formulate and implement energy procurement strategies for global markets.

• Supervise global energy procurement activities, including the negotiation of power purchase agreements (PPAs).

• Assess business requirements for co-siting or onsite power generation.

• Incorporate renewable and carbon-free energy initiatives into energy solutions.

• Collaborate with external stakeholders to advocate for energy initiatives.

• Foster a high-performance culture within the global energy team.

⛳️ Requirements

• A minimum of 12 years' experience in energy management, energy procurement, or related disciplines.

• In-depth knowledge of energy systems, carbon-free, and renewable technologies.

• Excellent negotiation abilities and experience in managing complex contracts.

• Capacity to cultivate cross-functional relationships.

• Proven ability to foster an environment of innovation and growth.

• Demonstrated success in implementing large-scale energy strategies across various regions.

• Background in data center operations, utilities, or similar mission-critical settings.

• Strong financial insight and experience handling large-scale budgets.
