This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in United States.
• Oversee Mastercam's worldwide direct-sales organization and take charge of the direct-sales strategy.
• Manage the global direct-sales operating framework, encompassing account ownership, strategic account management, regional and territory strategies, customer segmentation, acquisition, retention, expansion revenue, and seller productivity.
• Guide the organization to broaden the customer base, secure new direct customers, and achieve annual, quarterly, and monthly targets.
• Take responsibility for bookings, ARR, quota achievement, pipeline coverage, forecast precision, win rates, win-loss evaluations, sales cycle duration, and margin contributions.
• Deliver performance updates to executive leadership and key stakeholders.
• Establish a sales operating rhythm that includes pipeline reviews, forecast discussions, business assessments, CRM data standards, opportunity evaluations, deal-risk management, and sales-stage governance.
• Convert strategy into regional execution plans, measurable objectives, and structured forecasts.
• Suggest territory design, segmentation, coverage models, quota allocation, capacity planning, hiring strategies, onboarding standards, coaching schedules, and succession planning.
• Collaborate with Finance, Sales Operations, Business Development, Executive leadership, Marketing, Product, Customer Success, and Technical Sales teams.
• Ensure alignment in pricing, discount governance, sales incentives, go-to-market strategies, pipeline generation, product launches, retention, expansion, and customer feedback mechanisms.
• Advocate for sales initiatives and enablement programs; uphold standardized reporting and dashboards.
• Compile budgetary, operational, pipeline, and performance reports for executive decision-making.
• Lead employees and regional sales leaders across various geographies, cultures, and time zones.
• Stay informed about direct-sales best practices, market dynamics, industry trends, legislation, regulations, and internal policies.
• Undertake additional responsibilities as assigned.
• A Bachelor's degree is required, preferably in Sales, Business, Engineering, or a related discipline.
• An MBA is preferred.
• Over 15 years of progressive direct B2B sales leadership experience.
• More than 7 years of experience managing global, customer-facing sales teams and regional sales leaders.
• Proven track record of owning quota performance, revenue or ARR targets, CRM discipline, forecast accuracy, pipeline management, and sales operating rhythm.
• Demonstrated success in scaling high-performing direct-sales teams in a technical, manufacturing software, CAM, or similar environment.
• Extensive experience in leading direct sales for complex Capex, subscription, and service offerings ranging from $20K to $5M, involving software, hardware, or professional services.
• Proven capability in managing performance through measurable KPIs, including revenue versus plan, quota achievement, pipeline coverage, forecast accuracy, win rate, average deal size, sales cycle duration, representative ramp time, retention, expansion contributions, and CRM maintenance.
• Technical sales, manufacturing software, CAM, or related industry experience is highly preferred.
• Demonstrated experience leading direct-sales teams in a technical B2B setting.
• Proven ability to enhance direct seller productivity, align technical sales resources to customer needs, and generate measurable outcomes through a structured, customer-centric direct-sales process.
• Demonstrated leadership, mentoring, relationship-building, and problem-solving abilities.
• Strong analytical, troubleshooting, and risk-assessment skills.
• Excellent organizational skills, including planning, budgeting, prioritization, and resource management.
• Exceptional written and verbal communication skills suitable for global audiences.
• Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite, including Word, Excel, and PowerPoint.
• Ability to work both independently and collaboratively, drive objectives and projects to completion, manage multiple priorities, and maintain a positive, professional executive demeanor.
