This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in United States.
• Lead and oversee project and construction management teams responsible for delivering intricate OSP construction projects throughout the Southern region.
• Supervise daily OSP field operations, which include in-house crews, subcontractors, inspections, and quality control measures.
• Address complex operational and project challenges in collaboration with cross-functional leadership.
• Create, implement, and continually enhance a comprehensive OSP construction delivery model, incorporating standardized processes, systems, reporting, and tracking mechanisms.
• Recruit, develop, and expand the OSP Construction team within the Southern region.
• Identify, onboard, and manage regional subcontractors and additional resources while ensuring quality, safety, and adherence to schedules.
• Establish and nurture relationships with regional clients, utilities, municipalities, vendors, and strategic partners.
• Convey expectations, schedules, and performance standards to both internal teams and external partners.
• Manage and reinforce relationships with construction vendors and long-term strategic partnerships.
• Collaborate with the bids and proposals team to provide construction-related insights for RFPs, estimates, schedules, and execution strategies.
• Act as the senior operational leader for technical and operational aspects related to OSP construction within the Southern region.
• Align regional construction operations with engineering, business development, and financial goals.
• Foster a culture of safety, accountability, quality, and continuous improvement across construction activities in the South.
• Bachelor’s degree in Construction Management, Engineering, Business, or a related discipline.
• Over 10 years of progressive leadership experience in Telecom OSP Construction.
• Extensive experience on the contractor or service-provider side.
• Proven track record in leading large-scale OSP construction programs.
• Strong knowledge of regional permitting, utilities, and municipal regulations.
• Capability to manage project teams, field operations, subcontractors, and inspection processes across multiple states.
• Experience in developing scalable construction processes, systems, and performance metrics.
• Practical experience in supporting bids, proposals, and RFP responses from a construction execution viewpoint.
• Solid understanding of safety, quality, scheduling, cost control, and risk management in OSP construction.
• Exceptional leadership, communication, and stakeholder management abilities.
• Capacity to function at both strategic and hands-on levels.
• Willingness to travel frequently throughout the Southern region.
