This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Texas.
• Lead and oversee project and construction management teams executing intricate OSP construction projects throughout the Southern region.
• Supervise daily OSP field operations, which include in-house crews, subcontractors, inspections, and quality control measures.
• Address complex operational and project challenges in collaboration with cross-functional leadership.
• Develop, implement, and continually enhance a comprehensive OSP construction delivery model, incorporating standardized processes, systems, reporting, and tracking.
• Recruit, nurture, and expand the OSP Construction organization in the Southern region.
• Identify, onboard, and manage regional subcontractors and additional resources while ensuring adherence to quality, safety, and scheduling standards.
• Establish and sustain relationships with regional clients, utilities, municipalities, vendors, and strategic partners.
• Communicate expectations, timelines, and performance standards to both internal teams and external partners.
• Manage and enhance relationships with construction vendors and long-term strategic partnerships.
• Collaborate with bids and proposals teams to provide construction insights for RFPs, estimates, schedules, and regional execution strategies.
• Act as the senior operational leader for all OSP construction-related technical and operational issues in the Southern region.
• Ensure alignment among regional construction operations, engineering, business development, and financial goals.
• Promote safety, accountability, quality, and continuous improvement throughout Southern construction activities.
• A Bachelor’s degree in Construction Management, Engineering, Business, or a related field is required; an advanced degree is preferred.
• Over 10 years of progressive leadership experience in Telecom OSP Construction.
• Extensive experience on the contractor or services-provider side.
• Proven experience in leading large-scale OSP construction programs.
• Strong understanding of regional permitting, utilities, and municipal requirements.
• Capability to manage project teams, field operations, subcontractors, and inspection processes across multiple states.
• Experience in developing scalable construction processes, systems, and performance metrics.
• Hands-on experience in supporting bids, proposals, and RFP responses from a construction execution standpoint.
• Deep understanding of safety, quality, scheduling, cost control, and risk management in OSP construction.
• Excellent leadership, communication, and stakeholder management capabilities.
• Ability to operate effectively at both strategic and hands-on levels.
• Willingness to travel frequently across the Southern region.
