Vice President, Financial Planning & Analysis

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in United Kingdom.

📋 Description

• Oversee the global enterprise FP&A function.

• Collaborate with the CFO, CEO, Global Legal CEO, and the LexisNexis Management Committee to deliver financial insights and strategic advice.

• Assist in the development of enterprise strategy, business planning, and growth initiatives.

• Spearhead the integration of artificial intelligence into reporting, planning, and analysis functions.

• Assess strategic opportunities, investments, and business risks.

• Direct the enterprise budgeting, forecasting, strategic planning, and performance reporting processes.

• Create and oversee financial and operational performance indicators.

• Manage financial modeling, forecasting, and scenario planning activities.

• Enhance transparency, improve reporting effectiveness, and increase planning accuracy.

• Ensure strong financial governance, internal controls, and compliance standards.

• Collaborate with auditors and support regulatory and reporting obligations.

• Supervise financial reporting governance for stakeholders at LexisNexis and RELX.

• Develop and implement reporting tools and establish essential financial metrics.

• Work with technology and automation teams to enhance reporting capabilities.

• Promote process optimization, technological adoption, automation, and ongoing improvement.

• Lead, coach, mentor, and nurture a global finance team.

• Establish finance as a reliable business partner throughout the enterprise.

⛳️ Requirements

• A Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, Business Administration, or a related discipline.

• Significant experience in leading financial planning, analysis, reporting, and business performance functions within large, intricate organizations.

• Proven track record in supporting enterprise strategy and planning initiatives.

• Demonstrated experience in leading finance teams across various countries, cultures, and regulatory environments.

• Strong executive presence with the ability to influence senior stakeholders and achieve strategic objectives.

• Preferred professional accounting or finance qualification, such as ACA, ACCA, CIMA, CPA, or equivalent.

• Experience in leading finance transformation, analytics modernization, and AI-driven planning initiatives is preferred.

• Familiarity with operating within a global matrixed organization is preferred.
