This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in United States.
• Act as a senior member of the Engagement Solutions Executive leadership team, serving as the primary finance business partner in the evolution and management of the business unit’s vision along with its short- and long-term goals.
• Assist the service line, business unit, segment, and parent teams by converting strategy into financial plans, operating metrics, investment and staffing decisions, resource allocation, and performance actions.
• Identify and communicate risks and opportunities in the forecast, working to mitigate business unit risks to ensure revenue and EBITDA targets are achieved.
• Oversee the annual budget process and quarterly reforecasting for the assigned business unit, utilizing both top-down expectations and bottom-up operational details.
• Collaborate with business unit leaders to deliver monthly financial results and forecast updates to PAQ and PMG leadership in a prompt and precise manner.
• Conduct proactive ad hoc qualitative and quantitative analyses to uncover and drive essential insights and innovative opportunities for P&L and operational enhancement.
• Spearhead cross-functional finance and business transformation initiatives from conception through to execution.
• Assess current-state processes, operating metrics, project financial performance, staffing models, revenue trends, and market or competitor dynamics to pinpoint improvement opportunities and guide financial recommendations.
• Direct the creation, refinement, and implementation of KPIs, dashboards, and reporting package contents to enhance visibility, accountability, and decision-making within the finance function and assigned business units.
• Lead and support ongoing improvement initiatives, process standardization, reporting discipline, training, system enhancements, and finance transformation efforts across designated business areas.
• Adapt to and manage workload in an environment where priorities shift, while also managing the expectations of internal and external clients through consistent communication and strategic partnership.
• Establish a results-driven management style that measures and evaluates individual performance against clearly defined accountable competencies, responsibilities, and objectives.
• Cultivate a high-performing and collaborative work environment by setting performance goals, providing guidance, and encouraging continuous learning and development.
• Advocate for a culture of rigorous and disciplined financial analysis, relying on quantitative data to inform business decisions.
• Ensure adequate resources, tools, and processes are in place to build a robust finance team and support enhanced business unit finance expectations.
• Perform additional job duties as assigned by the line manager.
• 10-15 years of professional finance experience, with significant leadership in FP&A.
• Minimum requirement: Undergraduate degree in finance, accounting, or a related field.
• An advanced business degree or CPA is advantageous.
• Experience in the professional life sciences services industry is a plus.
• Extensive knowledge of FP&A, Client Finance, project financial management, forecasting, budgeting, reporting, backlog analysis, staffing leverage, and business unit profitability drivers.
• Strong grasp of accounting principles, financial controls, revenue recognition, compliance expectations, and finance best practices.
• Proficient with ERP systems, financial planning tools, and data visualization platforms like Infor and Power BI.
• Intellectually curious, commercially driven, and confident in translating complex financial data into clear, compelling business narratives.
• Proven ability to influence senior business leaders by highlighting risks and opportunities, constructively challenging assumptions, and encouraging leaders to rethink business performance.
• Quick learner with strong strategic thinking, analytical judgment, problem-solving skills, and the ability to operate effectively in ambiguous or rapidly changing environments.
