This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Switzerland.
• Implement Arrowhead’s European strategy, which encompasses commercialization, market access, scientific excellence, and organizational development.
• Align regional strategies with global objectives while adapting execution to local market conditions.
• Lead launch planning and execution in initial priority markets (DE, FR, IT, ES, UK).
• Develop pricing, reimbursement, and market access strategies in partnership with both global and local stakeholders, including key external advisors and partners.
• Ensure robust adoption and performance of Arrowhead’s therapies following launch.
• Build, guide, and motivate a high-performing regional cross-functional leadership team.
• Promote a culture of accountability, collaboration, and patient-centricity.
• Ensure effective coordination between country teams, global headquarters, and external advisors and partners.
• Act as Arrowhead’s senior representative throughout Europe with key external stakeholders, such as regulators, payers, healthcare providers, and partners.
• Establish strategic relationships to facilitate access, adoption, and sustainable growth.
• Create scalable infrastructure, processes, and compliance frameworks in accordance with European regulations.
• Oversee regional P&L, resource allocation, and performance management.
• Ensure compliance with all legal, regulatory, and corporate governance standards.
• Over 20 years of experience in the biopharmaceutical sector, including significant leadership positions within Europe.
• Proven success in leading product launches in major European markets.
• In-depth knowledge of European market access, pricing, and reimbursement frameworks.
• Experience in building and scaling regional and/or country organizations.
• Demonstrated capability to independently lead complex, cross-functional teams in a matrixed, global environment with a high degree of autonomy.
• Strong strategic thinking combined with effective operational execution skills.
• Experience managing senior leaders and influencing at the executive level.
• Comprehensive understanding of the European healthcare landscape, including regulatory pathways and payer systems.
• Background in rare diseases, specialty, or innovative therapeutics (experience with RNAi or similar modalities is a plus).
• Experience in cardiometabolic therapeutic areas, with a preference for dyslipidemias.
• Must be based in Europe, with a strong preference for Switzerland; other locations considered include the Netherlands, Germany, and the UK.
• Willingness and ability to travel as necessary, both domestically and internationally.
