This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Germany.
• Define and implement the EMEA Solution Advisory strategy to align with regional sales objectives, ensuring comprehensive coverage across all market segments.
• Act as a vital member of the EMEA Sales leadership team, offering strategic insights into market dynamics, competitive landscape, and customer needs.
• Promote thought leadership and innovation in the engagement of the Solution Advisory team with customers and prospects, including advanced demonstration techniques and value-based selling approaches.
• Encourage knowledge sharing and the scaling of best practices across the organization while fostering continuous innovation and creative thinking.
• Recruit, nurture, and retain a top-tier team of Solution Advisors, cultivating a culture of excellence, collaboration, and ongoing professional growth.
• Provide direct coaching, performance management, and career development guidance.
• Oversee resource allocation throughout the region, prioritizing opportunities to enhance revenue, renewal, retention, and customer success targets.
• Promote a positive team attitude and work ethic, ensuring that Coupa remains an exceptional workplace.
• Maintain operational and administrative excellence.
• Ensure the Solution Advisory team adeptly translates intricate business challenges into compelling technical solutions and measurable business value that set Coupa apart from competitors.
• Serve as a trusted advisor and executive sponsor for key accounts and strategic opportunities, engaging with C-level executives to present Coupa’s vision and value proposition.
• Collaborate closely with Sales, Services, Product Management, and Marketing to ensure alignment with company goals and uphold Coupa’s leadership position and brand within the industry.
• Over 10 years of experience in enterprise software pre-sales, solution consulting, or solution architecture, with at least 5 years in a leadership or management role.
• Demonstrated success in leading and scaling a regional or national team of presales professionals.
• In-depth knowledge of the Business Spend Management (BSM) sector, encompassing Procurement, Invoicing, Expenses, and associated financial processes.
• Strong executive presence complemented by outstanding presentation, communication, and interpersonal skills.
• Proven ability to develop and implement complex pre-sales strategies in competitive environments.
• Bachelor’s degree in Business, Finance, or a related technical field; a Master’s degree is preferred.
• Willingness to travel up to 50% to customer locations and company meetings across Europe, the Middle East, and Africa.
