
Vice President, Engineering – Studio, Gym & Enterprise

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in United States.
• Oversee engineering initiatives across the Gym, Studio, and Enterprise product sectors, encompassing Ignite, Glofox, API platforms, and staff-oriented operational experiences.
• Take ownership of technical strategy, execution of delivery, operational excellence, and the engineering culture within the portfolio.
• Collaborate with Product and business leadership to establish measurable customer, business, and operational goals.
• Propel the adoption of AI-driven SDLC and unified engineering practices.
• Lead a globally distributed engineering team spanning North America, Brazil, Europe, and India.
• Enhance delivery predictability, product quality, platform reliability, security measures, and operational efficiency.
• Spearhead the modernization of legacy systems, current platforms, APIs, integrations, and operational infrastructures.
• Fortify planning, execution, dependency management, incident response, release readiness, and portfolio reporting.
• Collaborate with Customer Success, Support, and enterprise stakeholders to address escalations and prioritize systemic enhancements.
• Build, mentor, and nurture engineering leaders while establishing succession plans.
• Represent the Engineering department in executive discussions, product planning, customer engagements, and strategic transformation initiatives.
• Over 10 years of experience in software engineering leadership.
• Proven background in leading multiple teams, diverse product areas, or large engineering portfolios.
• Experience at the level of VP, Senior Director, or a similar engineering leadership role.
• Background in SaaS, enterprise software, platforms, commerce, payments, fitness technology, or intricate multi-product environments.
• Demonstrated capability in leading scale, modernization, operational enhancements, and organizational transformation.
• Experience managing globally distributed engineering teams across various regions and time zones.
• Strong technical acumen across architecture, APIs, cloud platforms, integrations, reliability, security, quality, and engineering productivity.
• Ability to translate strategy into measurable results and actionable engineering plans.
• Proven track record of improving delivery predictability, operational discipline, platform reliability, and product quality.
• Experience in leading leaders, cultivating senior technical and management talent, and building high-performing engineering cultures.
• Capacity to drive change and influence colleagues without relying solely on direct reporting authority.
• Exceptional executive communication skills.
• Ability to balance strategic leadership with operational accountability and hands-on problem-solving when required.
• Preferred experience in fitness technology, membership management, billing, payments, commerce, CRM, club or studio management platforms, staff-facing systems, enterprise integrations, API platforms, platform modernization, AI-assisted engineering, automation, CI/CD, testing strategy, developer tooling, or platform engineering.
