This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in United States.
• In the role of Vice President, Employee Relations and Compliance, you will serve as the strategic leader tasked with developing and expanding MGT’s employee relations and workplace compliance initiatives during a time of considerable growth and transformation.
• Direct MGT’s organization-wide employee relations strategy and operational framework.
• Act as the senior advisor and escalation point for intricate and sensitive employee issues, investigations, workplace challenges, accommodations, performance management concerns, and employment decisions.
• Collaborate with leaders throughout the organization to tackle workforce challenges, enhance leadership effectiveness, and promote a positive and productive workplace culture.
• Identify and evaluate employee relations trends, offering actionable insights and recommendations to enhance organizational effectiveness and improve employee experience.
• Provide strategic oversight for employment-related compliance programs and workplace policies.
• Ensure the organization is prepared for changing federal, state, and local employment regulations.
• Supervise enterprise-level workplace investigations, ensuring thorough, impartial, and consistent practices.
• Lead employee relations and compliance initiatives related to acquisitions, integrations, organizational redesigns, and workforce transitions.
• Build, nurture, and lead a high-performing Employee Relations and Compliance team.
• A Bachelor’s degree is required; a master’s degree in Human Resources, Employment Law, Business Administration, JD, or a related field is preferred.
• A minimum of 12 years of progressive experience in Employee Relations, Employment Compliance, Labor Relations, Employment Law, Human Resources, or related fields.
• Proven success in leading enterprise-level employee relations and compliance functions within large, complex, and rapidly changing organizations.
• Extensive experience managing workplace investigations and advising on high-risk employee matters.
• In-depth knowledge of federal, state, and local employment laws and regulatory requirements.
• Established ability to influence executive leaders and drive organizational results through trusted partnerships and sound judgment.
