This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in United States.
β’ Provide comprehensive leadership for product development within the Literacy portfolio, encompassing Kβ12 Literacy, Supplemental, Assessment, and Intervention.
β’ Direct a team of developers while managing the entire literacy portfolio.
β’ Collaborate with teams in Product Management/Marketing, Creative Design/UX, and Product Technology.
β’ Create innovative product models tailored for teachers and students.
β’ Drive product strategy and oversee all aspects of planning, budgeting, and development for literacy initiatives.
β’ Lead the editorial team throughout every phase of product development.
β’ Ensure that projects are delivered on schedule, within budget, and consistent with the original product vision.
β’ Maintain relationships with program authors, internal staff, consultants, reviewers, and vendors.
β’ Over 12 years of experience in curriculum development and/or the instructional development of educational materials.
β’ Proven experience in effectively managing teams.
β’ Bachelorβs degree in English, Reading, Literacy, Elementary or Secondary Education, or a related discipline (Masterβs degree preferred).
β’ Prior teaching experience with a solid understanding of how children learn.
β’ Capacity to thrive in a dynamic, fast-paced environment.
β’ Skill in collaborating and fostering consensus among diverse stakeholders.
