This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in United States.
• Lead the overall product development for the K–12 Literacy portfolio, which includes Supplemental, Assessment, and Intervention solutions.
• Direct and support a skilled editorial team throughout all phases of product development.
• Work in collaboration with Product Management/Marketing, Creative Design/UX, and Product Technology teams.
• Create innovative product models that cater to the needs of teachers and students.
• Steer product strategy and manage planning, budgeting, and development processes for literacy initiatives.
• Ensure that projects are delivered on time, within budget, and consistent with the initial product vision.
• Foster relationships with program authors, internal staff, consultants, reviewers, vendors, and external collaborators.
• Over 12 years of experience in curriculum development and/or the creation of instructional materials.
• Proven experience in effectively managing teams.
• Bachelor’s degree in English, Reading, Literacy, Elementary or Secondary Education, or a related discipline.
• Prior teaching experience and an understanding of how children learn.
• Openness to occasional travel as project demands arise.
• Capability to excel in a dynamic, fast-paced work setting.
• Strong ability to collaborate and build consensus among diverse stakeholders.
