This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Maryland, +2 more states.
• Establish new business connections with RIAs and "Breakaway" Advisors in the DMV area.
• Foster regional opportunities to meet business objectives.
• Achieve and surpass specified asset growth and new client targets within the designated territory.
• Articulate Fidelity Institutional’s value proposition to potential clients and influential contacts.
• Collaborate with other Fidelity divisions to introduce products, services, and capabilities to prospects.
• Analyze prospects’ businesses to assess how Fidelity Institutional products and services can provide value.
• Work alongside Inside Sales, Business Development, and Implementation teams for lead generation and onboarding.
• Understand and apply the pricing model to ensure profitability.
• Exhibit expertise in the RIA sector and competitive intelligence.
• Willingness to travel up to 50%.
• Bachelor’s degree.
• Over 10 years of direct client and/or financial services experience in Sales or Relationship Management.
• Direct experience within the RIA, custody, or brokerage sectors.
• Preferred Series 7 and 63 registrations.
• Capability to lead a complex sales cycle.
• Proven supervisory experience with clients and prospects through in-person meetings, phone interactions, and emails.
• Demonstrated quantifiable achievements in net flows, assets, or revenue at a strategic level with RIAs and Advisors.
• Strong communication skills and a proactive approach to fostering client interactions.
• Extensive domain knowledge in the RIA sector and Fidelity’s competitors.
• Up to 50% travel is mandatory.
• Fidelity will not offer immigration sponsorship for this position.
• Must adhere to applicable securities, investment advisory, investment company, ERISA, state securities, and FINRA-related laws and regulations.
• Required certifications include Series 07 (FINRA) and Series 63 (FINRA).
