This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in North Carolina.
• Formulate and implement the corporate development strategy in alignment with the company's long-term objectives.
• Discover, evaluate, and rank acquisition targets, partnerships, and strategic opportunities within the life sciences sector.
• Oversee the complete deal execution process, which includes valuation, financial modeling, due diligence, negotiation, structuring, and finalization.
• Facilitate thorough due diligence across IT, Finance, Legal, Operations, Quality, Human Resources, and Commercial departments.
• Guide post-merger integration planning and execution in collaboration with the Integration Management Office.
• Cultivate relationships with investment banks, advisors, founders, and key industry stakeholders.
• Perform market, competitive, and pipeline evaluations.
• Prepare and deliver investment proposals and transaction updates to executive leadership and the Board.
• Direct cross-functional initiatives that support Worldwide’s strategic growth objectives.
• Act as a trusted advisor regarding enterprise growth strategies.
• Over 10 years of experience in corporate development, investment banking, private equity, or a comparable field.
• Preferred background in life sciences, clinical research, or healthcare services.
• Experience in global transactions and partnerships.
• Demonstrated ability to thrive in a high-growth, fast-paced, and matrixed environment.
• Proven experience partnering with executive leadership, investors, and Boards on strategic initiatives.
• Extensive expertise in mergers and acquisitions, with a successful history of executing complex transactions from start to finish.
• Experience in sourcing founder-led businesses and collaborating with intermediaries and investment banking networks.
• Proven track record of leading diligence and integration, ideally within life sciences or healthcare services.
• Strong financial modeling and analytical problem-solving skills.
• Exceptional executive-level communication skills and the ability to influence senior stakeholders.
• Collaborative leadership approach with strong cross-functional partnership abilities.
• Capability to manage multiple priorities concurrently while functioning as a strategic leader and hands-on ‘player-coach’.
