
Vice President, Community Engagement and Stewardship

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in United States.
• Provide strategic direction for the development and implementation of community engagement, volunteer leadership, and stewardship programs.
• Collaborate with Blood Cancer United leadership to improve engagement and stewardship among various volunteer groups.
• Act as a strategic leader in organization-wide efforts, including National Volunteer Week.
• Work alongside Territory Vice Presidents and Executive Directors to identify priorities and establish key performance indicators for the Region Board of Trustees.
• Promote collaboration across territories, regions, and mission teams.
• Oversee volunteer management technology, programs, processes, and standards.
• Manage volunteer recruitment, training, engagement, and stewardship activities.
• Analyze, organize, synthesize, and distribute key performance indicators related to volunteer engagement to Blood Cancer United leaders.
• Act as the business lead with Technology regarding volunteer management systems.
• Lead, mentor, and develop members of the Community Engagement & Stewardship team.
• A Bachelor's degree is required; a Master's degree is preferred.
• At least 12 years of progressive leadership experience.
• Proven experience working with executive volunteer leaders and boards.
• Experience in leading enterprise initiatives and driving organizational change.
• In-depth knowledge of volunteer engagement, stewardship, constituent relations, and nonprofit leadership principles.
