This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in United States.
• Develop a comprehensive enterprise communications strategy that encompasses PR & External Publications, Corporate Communications, and Learner & Alumni Communications.
• Ensure that organizational communications promote Nightingale's Purpose and align with the Core 7 framework.
• Act as the senior communications representative on the executive leadership team, advocating for the division in strategic planning and among external stakeholders.
• Direct the PR & External Publications strategy to enhance brand visibility, public perception, nurse leaders, and state nursing boards.
• Manage media relations, earned media, crisis communications, and regulatory communications.
• Lead the Corporate Communications strategy that supports organizational growth, fosters Collaborator connections, and enhances executive communications.
• Oversee the Learner & Alumni Communications strategy throughout the learner journey, from enrollment to advanced nursing programs.
• Ensure that operational communications are precise, timely, and adapted to regional needs.
• Facilitate learner progression and continuity through communications tailored to the mapped journey.
• Create and sustain a VP-level KPI dashboard across the three functions led by directors.
• Provide regular reports to the Chief Growth Officer on the effectiveness of enterprise-wide communications.
• Over 15 years of progressive leadership in communications, with notable experience at the VP or executive level.
• A Master's degree is mandatory.
• A solid understanding of communications in higher education is essential.
• A proven history of managing budget responsibilities for a communications function within a growth-stage organization.
• Experience in leading concurrent multi-audience communications strategies with full authority over hiring and resources.
• Strong proficiency in data, including the ability to build, interpret, and present KPI-based performance metrics.
• An executive presence with the capability to function as a peer within an executive leadership team and represent the organization externally.
