This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in United Kingdom, +2 more countries.
• Engage in bid triage discussions to assess incoming opportunities and ensure alignment with corporate goals
• Perform market and competitive analysis to identify, assess, and prioritize high-value opportunities
• Advise bid teams on significant RFI and RFP opportunities while crafting unique sales messaging
• Collaborate with sales, technical, and operational teams to comprehend client needs and formulate winning strategies
• Prepare bid teams for client presentations and interactions
• Gather and share insights from both successful and unsuccessful bids
• Keep abreast of industry trends, policy shifts, regulatory changes, and emerging technologies
• Engage in bid pursuits and client interactions
• Represent Parexel at industry conferences and events
• Lead or take part in initiatives aimed at enhancing commercial hit rates and bid pursuit effectiveness
• Work together with Sales Operations and business leaders on win/loss analyses and commercial insights
• Contribute to the creation of training materials focused on commercial strategy and best practices for bid pursuits
• Over 15 years of proven success in the CRO industry with significant client management experience and a background in senior sales and/or operational roles
• Extensive experience in crafting commercial messaging, including proposal writing, RFIs, sales and marketing materials, and bid pursuit content
• Demonstrated experience in leading and managing global cross-functional teams
• Proficient in commercial and bid tools and software, including Microsoft Office, Salesforce, and proposal or presentation automation platforms
• Deep understanding of commercial strategy messaging, insight-based selling, and data-driven methodologies
• Strong knowledge of the CRO industry, the biopharma market, and the products and services offered by Parexel
• Basic understanding of medical terminology and ICH/GCP
• Excellent communication, organization, and problem-solving abilities
• Willingness to travel as required for the role
• Bachelor's degree in a scientific or business discipline (preferred)
• Advanced degree in business, science, or a related field (preferred)
• Experience in pharmaceutical medicine or related therapeutic areas (preferred)
• Proven track record in business development or new business pursuits (preferred)
