Vice President, AI Infrastructure Products

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Alaska, +10 more states.

📋 Description

• Develop and implement a strategic roadmap for AI infrastructure that aligns with Equinix’s platform vision.

• Collaborate with clients to co-create infrastructure that facilitates quicker training, enhanced inference, and scalable AI capabilities.

• Lead cross-functional teams in delivering solutions for compute, storage, interconnect, and cooling tailored for AI.

• Establish strategic partnerships with silicon vendors, model creators, and cloud-native platforms.

• Enable a global team to provide efficient, sustainable, and future-ready infrastructure.

• Act as an AI infrastructure thought leader for Equinix at customer forums, industry events, and strategic partnerships.

• Create cohesive infrastructure experiences through strategic platforms.

• Design customer-focused, automated, and operationally consistent products.

• Collaborate across the organization to scale trusted, efficient, and future-ready solutions.

• Manage and operate product lines including Colocation, Network Edge, and Equinix Managed Solutions.

⛳️ Requirements

• Over 15 years of leadership experience in building and scaling infrastructure for AI, cloud, or platform technologies.

• In-depth knowledge of the AI/ML lifecycle, encompassing LLM training, inference, and agentic architectures.

• Strong technical understanding of GPUs, accelerators, storage, networking, and cooling systems.

• Proven experience working with hyperscalers, AI-native firms, or enterprise AI teams.

• Excellent communication and executive influence capabilities.

• Transformational leadership skills in managing people.

• Capacity to initiate bold changes through data and mobilize teams in uncertain environments.

• Global outlook with the ability to foster trust across diverse cultures and teams.

• Systems-level strategic thinking that connects vision to execution.
