This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in United States.
• Oversee the entire recruiting process for DVM, relief DVM, and Practice Manager positions, which includes intake, sourcing strategy, screening, coordinating interviews, making offers, and finalizing hires.
• Identify passive candidates through Boolean searches, professional networks, referrals, and targeted outreach efforts.
• Establish and nurture relationships with candidates while representing AVP in a professional manner.
• Manage and update the candidate pipeline in Workable, ensuring that records, stages, and notes are accurately maintained.
• Collaborate with hiring managers, clinic leadership, and HR to ensure alignment on requirements, feedback, and timelines.
• Evaluate and qualify applicants through structured phone and video interviews.
• Coordinate and communicate job offers with clinic leadership and the Regional Operations Manager.
• Monitor and report metrics such as time to fill, pipeline health, and sourcing effectiveness, utilizing data to enhance strategies.
• A minimum of three years of full-cycle recruiting experience, either in an agency or in-house setting.
• Experience in recruiting within the veterinary industry is essential.
• Proven ability to source and place candidates in competitive or supply-constrained markets.
• Proficient sourcing skills, including the ability to conduct effective Boolean searches and outreach that generates responses.
• Ability to manage multiple open requisitions simultaneously without allowing candidates to lose interest.
• Familiarity with AI tools and a readiness to learn new ones; expected to utilize AI in AVP’s recruiting processes.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills, demonstrating clarity and directness.
• Willingness to travel as necessary to clinics for onboarding and candidate interviews, as well as for career fairs and events.
• Preferred: experience with an applicant tracking system, especially Workable.
• Preferred: familiarity with Claude and ChatGPT.
• Competitive Salary - $80,000 base salary, dependent on experience. Performance-based bonuses available.
