This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Canada, +1 more state.
• Provide comprehensive and strategic recruitment support throughout the entire hiring process for Engineering positions in both the U.S. and Canada.
• Collaborate with assigned client groups to oversee a diverse array of open positions and achieve talent acquisition objectives with high-quality candidates.
• Utilize advanced sourcing techniques to identify and engage both active and passive candidates.
• Assess candidates for technical skills, cultural compatibility, and leadership potential; offer strategic insights on candidate selection.
• Mentor and guide junior recruiters on advanced sourcing and screening methodologies.
• Clearly communicate compelling career opportunities that align with candidate motivations.
• Ensure a fair, inclusive recruitment process and foster a positive candidate experience.
• Enhance GE Vernova’s talent brand and increase visibility in targeted channels.
• Develop candidate engagement strategies and pipelines for challenging-to-fill positions.
• Leverage recruitment data and market insights to suggest process improvements and influence stakeholders.
• Oversee and provide guidance on end-to-end recruitment processes for varying levels of complexity.
• Lead intricate offer negotiations and provide counsel to stakeholders regarding compensation benchmarks.
• Accurately and promptly manage candidate and requisition lifecycles within the ATS.
• Apply Lean principles, monitor KPIs, and identify opportunities for continuous improvement.
• Engage in projects and adopt best practices in daily operations.
• Over 5 years of recruitment experience with a focus on sourcing, screening, managing complex offers, and advising stakeholders.
• More than 2 years of consultative recruitment experience in the Conventional Power, Electric, or Renewable Energy sectors, or another highly regulated, technical field.
• At least 2 years of experience in identifying and sourcing talent for specialized engineering roles, such as Mechanical Systems, Instrumentation & Controls, Probabilistic Risk & Reliability, Systems Integration, Civil Structural, or other systems engineering specialties.
• Bachelor’s degree from an accredited university or college, or equivalent knowledge or experience (preferred).
• Familiarity with Workday or similar ATS, LinkedIn Recruiter, Talent Neuron, Tableau, and AI bots like ChatGPT.
• Strong advisory capabilities and the ability to influence hiring strategies.
• Experience in change management, process optimization, and implementation.
• Strategic mindset with the ability to think long-term and drive change.
• Advanced skills in storytelling with data and trend analysis.
• Outstanding negotiation and closing abilities, particularly in high-stakes offer situations.
• Proven leadership experience, including the mentoring and coaching of junior recruiters.
• Comprehensive understanding of industry trends, market dynamics, and compensation benchmarks.
• Experience in both corporate and agency recruiting environments is preferred.
• If employed in Canada, legal authorization to work in Canada is required, and employment is contingent upon successful completion of a background investigation.
• Eligibility for a 10% annual bonus.
