This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Canada.
β’ Provide comprehensive and strategic recruitment assistance throughout the entire hiring process for Engineering positions in the U.S. and Canada.
β’ Collaborate with designated client groups to oversee a varied portfolio of open roles and achieve talent acquisition objectives with high-caliber candidates.
β’ Utilize advanced sourcing techniques to identify and engage both active and passive candidates.
β’ Evaluate candidates for technical proficiency, cultural alignment, and leadership potential.
β’ Offer strategic insights on candidate selection while mentoring junior recruiters.
β’ Clearly articulate enticing career opportunities aligned with candidate motivations.
β’ Ensure an inclusive and equitable recruitment process that delivers a positive candidate experience.
β’ Enhance GE Vernova's talent brand through social media and targeted outreach channels.
β’ Develop candidate engagement strategies and pipelines for challenging-to-fill positions.
β’ Leverage recruitment data and market insights to propose process enhancements and influence stakeholders effectively.
β’ Oversee and provide guidance on end-to-end recruitment processes of varying complexities.
β’ Lead intricate offer negotiations and provide advice to stakeholders regarding compensation benchmarks.
β’ Keep accurate and timely records of candidate and requisition lifecycle data within the ATS.
β’ Implement Lean principles, monitor KPIs, identify continuous improvement opportunities, engage in projects, and apply best practices.
β’ A minimum of 5 years of recruitment experience with a focus on sourcing, screening, managing complex offers, and advising stakeholders.
β’ At least 2 years of consultative recruitment experience in the Conventional Power, Electric, or Renewable Energy sectors, or another highly regulated technical industry.
β’ Over 2 years of experience in identifying and sourcing talent for specialized engineering roles.
β’ Familiarity with Workday or a comparable ATS, LinkedIn Recruiter, Talent Neuron or another talent insights tool, Tableau, and AI bots like ChatGPT.
β’ Strong advisory skills with the capability to influence hiring strategies.
β’ Experience in change management, process optimization, and implementation.
β’ A robust strategic mindset.
β’ Proficient in advanced storytelling using data and trend information.
β’ Exceptional negotiation and closing abilities.
β’ Demonstrated leadership experience, including mentoring and coaching junior recruiters.
β’ Comprehensive understanding of industry trends, market dynamics, and compensation benchmarks.
β’ Legal authorization to work in Canada if contracted in that region.
β’ Successful completion of a background investigation for candidates based in Canada.
β’ A Bachelor's degree from an accredited university or college, or equivalent knowledge or experience (preferred).
β’ Eligibility for a 10% annual bonus.
β’ No relocation assistance is offered.
