Venture Analyst

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Czechia.

📋 Description

• Perform due diligence on early-stage cryptocurrency projects across various sectors and architectures.

• Evaluate businesses comprehensively, including their team, market, product, business model, and tokenomics.

• Create investment memos, market maps, and analyses of competitors.

• Develop and enhance perspectives on emerging verticals and technologies.

• Generate deal flow through proactive outreach, community engagement, and maintaining an ecosystem presence.

• Establish relationships with founders, builders, and fellow investors.

• Screen incoming opportunities and oversee pipeline tracking.

• Represent the firm at events, hackathons, and conferences.

• Monitor the progress of portfolio companies against their milestones and market changes.

• Prepare updates on portfolio performance and reports.

• Assist portfolio companies by providing research, introductions, and strategic insights.

• Track industry trends and contribute to the firm's developing investment theses.

• Publish blog posts and knowledge snippets on platforms such as Medium and Twitter.

• Represent the firm in public-facing research and discussions within the ecosystem.

⛳️ Requirements

• A Bachelor's degree or higher is required, with flexibility on the background, though a preference for technical fields (CS, engineering, or equivalent) is preferred.

• A generalist orientation with the technical ability to read technical documentation and engage with founders regarding architectural and design decisions.

• Previous investment experience is essential, whether at a cryptocurrency or traditional venture fund, or in an investing role at an operating company.

• An inquisitive nature across the cryptocurrency stack, with a perspective on where compelling opportunities are emerging.

• Exceptional research and communication abilities; clear and structured writing skills are required.

• A self-starter who can work independently.
