This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in United States.
• Deliver senior-level public health analysis and technical support for CDC programs and initiatives.
• Aid in the planning, execution, monitoring, and evaluation of public health programs and projects.
• Perform research, literature reviews, environmental scans, and analyze public health policies, programs, practices, and emerging issues.
• Evaluate program needs, capabilities, performance, outcomes, and areas for enhancement.
• Create evidence-based recommendations to enhance program effectiveness, efficiency, and public health outcomes.
• Assist in the development and execution of program work plans, project plans, milestones, and performance metrics.
• Gather, organize, analyze, and interpret qualitative and quantitative data to aid program decision-making.
• Contribute to the development of evaluation methodologies, performance measures, logic models, data collection tools, and program assessment instruments.
• Provide technical assistance and capacity-building support to CDC programs and stakeholders.
• Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to pinpoint programmatic challenges, risks, dependencies, and opportunities.
• Facilitate project management activities, including schedules, action items, deliverables, status tracking, and stakeholder coordination.
• Produce reports, white papers, briefing documents, presentations, dashboards, and other technical products for CDC leadership and program personnel.
• Simplify complex public health findings and technical data into clear, actionable recommendations for both technical and non-technical audiences.
• Engage in and lead meetings, working groups, stakeholder interactions, webinars, and technical assistance sessions.
• Assist with emerging CDC priorities and high-profile public health initiatives.
• Keep track of relevant public health developments, policies, research, and emerging threats, assessing their potential impact on CDC programs.
• Collaborate with senior analysts, program managers, evaluators, and subject matter experts to synthesize findings across various workstreams.
• Contribute to organizational and process improvement initiatives where public health expertise is necessary.
• Help identify opportunities for enhancing program processes, performance, communication, and stakeholder engagement.
• Ensure meticulous documentation of research, analysis, recommendations, and program activities.
• Guarantee that work products are technically accurate, evidence-based, timely, and meet CDC standards.
• Bachelor's degree in public health, health sciences, health administration, public policy, social sciences, or a similar field.
• 5 years of relevant professional experience in public health, program analysis, program management, health policy, program evaluation, or a related discipline.
• Experience supporting Federal Government, public health agencies, healthcare organizations, or comparable public health programs.
• Proven experience in conducting public health research, analysis, assessment, or program support.
• Experience in developing technical reports, presentations, briefing materials, and other professional communications.
• Ability to analyze complex data and formulate clear, evidence-based recommendations.
• Experience collaborating with multidisciplinary teams and multiple stakeholders.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills.
• Excellent organizational, analytical, and problem-solving skills.
• Capacity to manage multiple priorities and deliverables in a deadline-oriented environment.
• Master's degree in public health, health administration, epidemiology, health policy, or a related field is preferred.
• Over 5 years of experience supporting CDC, HHS, or other Federal public health organizations is preferred.
• Experience assisting CDC programs, initiatives, or cooperative agreements is preferred.
• Familiarity with public health program evaluation and performance measurement is preferred.
• Experience in developing logic models, evaluation frameworks, performance indicators, or program assessment methodologies is preferred.
• Proficiency in qualitative and quantitative research methods is preferred.
• Experience providing technical assistance or capacity-building support to public health organizations is preferred.
• Background in strategic planning, organizational assessment, or process improvement is preferred.
• Experience supporting public health emergency preparedness, response, or emerging public health priorities is preferred.
• Familiarity with Federal public health policies, programs, and operational environments is preferred.
