Senior Analyst

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in India, +2 more states.

📋 Description

• Develop and design analytics models and tools aimed at optimizing transportation costs, speed, and network efficiency.

• Take ownership of and enhance carrier dashboards, routing optimization tools, chargeback systems, and cost benchmarking engines.

• Provide predictive and real-time reporting on key performance indicators (KPIs) such as transit time, on-time delivery, and freight expenditure.

• Deliver swift, ad hoc decision support focused on business drivers and actionable insights, adhering to a 24-hour service level agreement (SLA).

• Collaborate across various functions and support automation initiatives.

• Contribute to the development of scalable, high-impact analytics solutions.

• Design and scale advanced analytics models and tools to optimize transportation networks, minimize shipping expenses, and enhance EBITDA growth.

• Improve data accuracy while delivering predictive insights that support real-time and forward-thinking transportation performance management.

⛳️ Requirements

• 4th generation or higher Intel i3 processor or equivalent.

• Minimum of 4GB of RAM.

• Operating system must be Windows 10 or above, or MAC OSX.

• Dual monitors are required.

• A strong and stable internet connection, utilizing wired DSL, cable, or fiber service with a plan of 10 Mbps or higher for the primary connection.

• A PC headset is necessary.

• An HD external or integrated webcam with a minimum resolution of 720p.

• 4 to 6+ years of analytics experience, preferably in transportation, supply chain, logistics, or e-commerce operations.

• Proficient in SQL, including experience with Snowflake, Starburst, or similar platforms.

• Advanced skills in Excel.

• Capable of writing and optimizing complex queries independently.

• Proficiency in Power BI, including the ability to build dashboards and DAX measures from scratch.

• Self-directed problem-solving capabilities.

• Excellent written and verbal communication skills in English.

• Comfortable presenting findings directly to US-based leaders and stakeholders.

• Experience collaborating across time zones with US teams.

• Familiarity with carrier rate analysis, freight cost modeling, or warehouse/inbound operations data is a plus.
