Vendor Supply Chain and Logistics Consultant

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in District of Columbia, +2 more states.

📋 Description

• Evaluate organizations and develop processes and systems, analyzing business models and technology integration.

• Examine the current state, determine customer needs, and outline the future state and/or business solutions.

• Conduct research, collect, and synthesize relevant information.

• Manage direct relationships with vendors for the program.

• Oversee purchasing requirements from a logistics and supply chain perspective.

• Guide the Shared PMO team on Purchase Orders and Change Requests throughout the project lifecycle.

• Accurately maintain the project Bill of Materials (BOM).

• Coordinate technical solution modifications with the client and subcontracted Lab partners.

• Ensure alignment among all stakeholders.

⛳️ Requirements

• Proven experience in supporting procurement/supply chain operations within a federal setting.

• Demonstrated experience in managing direct vendor relationships.

• Background in supervising purchasing activities in logistics and supply chain environments.

• Possession of a Secret clearance.

• Valid work authorization in the US that does not currently or in the future require visa sponsorship.
